BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

As 2020 was not the year for journeys, let me tell how fortunate I was in 2019. Mary Chambers / Principal Temple Street Children’s Hospital School/ with her family spent some days in Budapest from 15 of April to 18 in 2019.It was their family holiday and we could spend a day together. They had a Parliament tour then we together visited Hero Square and travelled to Buda Hill. There we were so lucky that we could just not visit the Matthias Church (Church of Our Lady), but we took part in a Catholic mass.We finished the day in an open-air restaurant trying Hungarian dishes. Last day they went to the best known Széchenyi Thermal Bath (Széchenyi gyógyfürdo). It’s supplied by two thermal springs.

It is their first time in Budapest. We got to know each other better; we were talking, walking a lot. It was a great day. I am looking forward to seeing them again.
