In Hungary Mother’s Day falls on the first Sunday of May. It has been a holiday since 1925 when it was first celebrated by the Hungarian Red Cross Youth in connection with the Catholic traditions honoring the Virgin Mary. This year we celebrated 5th of May.We were making „calla lilly” with eye makeup remover pads, cotton buds and drinking straws and „love jar.”

The cala lilies are so inventive…amazing what you can do with cotton buds and make up removers. Ive been meaning to ask for ages…what do you put in the love jars?
