There are two activities that I’ve completed with my students.
In the first activity, I’ve given the students images of under the sea creatures and asked them to trace the lines in the images using their pointer finger while counting to 10 and breathing in through their noses and out through their mouthes.
In the second activity, I asked the students to create a drawing of their own using an image of something that sparks happiness or calmness in them. Once the drawing is complete, the students were asked to create an activity to go along with the image ie. an activity that calms them down.

This is such a good idea ..I’m going to try it …I think I’ll draw a tree and trace around branches, leaves and trunk while breathing in and out slowly…so good for so many reasons…I may add in a short holding in section.
