Clodagh MurphyEvery year our pupils take part in a Christmas show in Temple Street. This year our story was ‘The Littlest Christmas Tree’.
The theme of the story is BELONGING, which is part of our wellbeing programme- this is about helping children develop a positive sense of who they are and take pride in their families, cultures and beliefs.
The story was recorded and the artwork was created by pupils throughout the hospital. It was presented at a Christmas concert with music for all patients, parents and hospital staff to attend. Everybody joined us in the school for a party afterwards.
What a lovely idea. I am really keen to try this out next Christmas.
